Nqd px-16 ????? any info ?

Hi guy's , I know their not hobby grade, but some of you are fooling around with nqd's stuff. I was wondering If anyone has had any luck with their px-16 cat ?. I was pondering of picking one up for sh*ts and kicks, and swapping motors and stuff in it ?. I am not sure about the rudder system on them though ?, It looks like a real weak link ?.

I got a friend who picked up nqd's sprint boat and dropped a decent traxxas 380 motor in it. Its actually got some zip for being a cheap china pos. he he he he he I told him to stick a graupner mimi jet on it and watch it go !!!!.

hahahah i looked at this and saw it and thought hmmm that looks familiar, one of my friends picked up one of these peices of ummm plastic, the other day for a lot more than what its worth, the rudder "system" isnt really anything, its more of a skeg that is stuck. there is no control for the rudder, the motors are either ON or Off. you would have to replace pretty much... your everything, and for how much you can get a hobbyking cheap boat for, its not worth it. also the charger that came with it is broke, and it well, sux ass. if you want to use it as a boat to ram other boats back to shore it might work, but then youd need a radio that goes beyond 10M.... :S

NQD offer a good way of tasting the hobby , to see if it is to ones liking . Though make no mistake they are limited as far as there posibilities go , if someone finds enjoyment with the hobby of R/C Boating then the cost of buying an NQD is worthwhile i feel . If the Bug bights ( so to speak ) then a person will gain enjoyment in building a worthwhile hobby grade boat to their liking , as R/C Boating has so many enjoyment aspects going for it .....
