I ended up with a free 10s pack and thinking if the load is balanced it should work but I am afraid to try it? Anyone ever try running ESCs in series on a 10s setup.Would the current draw be an issue through the pack?

Are you asking if you can use one 10s pack to power two escs? if so, yes. You just make sure the pack can handle the draw your going to put to it. But it would be in parallel. youd need to make a Y that went from both escs pos to the batt pos and same for neg. And obviously the esc needs to be rated to handle 10sComment

Isnt that what I just explained above? Actually no its not. I dont think you can wire it in series as you have it. Why are you wanting to series it? What are you trying to accomplish in doing so? Why not just split in parallel out to each esc and be done. Many people do that in twin boats.Comment

i was tring to find a use for a 10s pack i got for free by putting it in a twin cat. i was afraid to cut it open and split it, + it is a long pack i am not sure how the cells are lined up. I could use it in my Razor in about 2 months when i get my Esc back from castle.
the way my razor is setup it is for 2 5s packs i dont really have room for the 10s as one pack in it. So i guess i got some parts i cant use

Im about 99.9% sure by seriesing the esc your not going to cut the battery voltage in half. for your purposes, no, its not going to work like thatComment

But now you have a reason to build a 10S boat lolComment

Yep i will tell my wife that the free 10s pack i got needs a home to put it into
I guess that means i will also need a backup backup HV ESC
PS figured it would not work with spliting the voltage. just thinking outside the box.Comment

I think thats a very acceptable solution
