Cooling hose wrap?

I've seen on a few boats the cooling hose is covered in a kind of coiled wire (see pic in the link below) I have no idea what it's called or where to find it.

Can anyone help?

That is wire loom,
I use it on cars & cycle for keeping wires from rubbing on stuff and makes it look good to.

I dont think so, as i run in salt water i dont think this is going to be any good although i have seen some braided stainless steel wrap which might look good.

There is loom that looks like chrome,
And also comes in other colors that is all plastic.

HC have plastic cable wrap that for $1per3' is hard to beat.. pretty colors too.

Free air coils of braided wire in an FE hull is a great way to introduce electrical interference.

I don't think the plastic will help cool much, if you really want to cool your water you can get inline coolers from kintec.

Actually it's used to help the tubing from getting kinks in it.
