    Limited spec sport

    Another spec inquiry.

What's out there? Anything new on the horizon?

My Whip is pretty crunkled up. Time to move on. Curious to know if there is anything fresh and untapped out there.

Working on something. May not be for mass consumption.

Or I'll just build another whip.

ML Boatworks - Mike Luszcz - is working on a hull. Called the ADJUST 20. Already about a dozen guys signed up for one. You might not see Mike's name listed on race day results, but it seems he has a natural talent for designing and building hulls.

Also caught wind that there may be a new electric version Whip on the horizon.

The Thomas is the most impressive runner I've seen. We'll have 4 of them racing next season. Didn't really want to make it 5.

I've built 4 Whips now. There's a ton of work to get them like I want them. I change.........well, everything but the footprint. Maybe I'll build another an make it even more unrecognizable. My big whip is stupid fast. I think I just tired of sucking saw dust. I swore I was going to buy something someone else had already done the homework on.

What about that hull Gary Pruess was working on. I'm sure I butchered that spelling.

Some PLEASE talk me out of building another whip.

I am a Robot. The chip implanted in my brain activates each time I hear the word Whip, and prompts me to power up the FE30 promoting circuit in my wiring. Buy an FE30...Buy an FE30.... I am a robot...

Tony, I would buy one from you if you would include a free case of 3M electrical tape and my choice of color.

Tony, up here we would call you a slappy. haha

We have one of those in the club too. Bob has only been able to race it once so he's not found the sweet spot yet. First impression was that it had a long way to go to catch up with our top guys. Has anyone messed with the sponsons on those? Watching Bobs on the preliminary runs it just looked like it wanted more AOA. Could be it's too soon to tell. I haven't ruled it out though. I mentioned this before.......it's hideous. I have my limitations. haha

Hey, any of you remember when I built this and controversy ensued?

                http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...light=whiplash

So I asked "what's a transom"? Everybody scoffed and said come on Terry it's so obvious. Then I built this for spite.

Well.......what if......there was still a knife edge but the entire rear end of the boat was elliptical shaped? No part perfectly square to the tub. Just a beautiful sexy spline curve. Custom hardware of course. Would I have officially built a boat with no transom? hmmmmmm Push the envelope until the CD's beg for mercy? That may to controversial even for me.

Your last whiplash didn’t show much hull when it was upside down. Now, image an invisible floating ramp out there. AWESOME!

At the last race I drove the big whip back to shore on it's lid in one heat. If I had an extended rudder I could have finished the race uppside down.
