    What tape on hatch ?

I'm sorry if this seems to be a stupid question but I am wanting to know what everyone uses for tape on the hatch. I have a ProBoat mystic cat and the hatch is rounded on the front edge not square. I have seen alot of youtube vids where people have a tape on the hatch that can be run in one piece with the curve of the hatch and not have to be applied in short pieces to make the turns. Looked kind of like electrical tape . I have a roll of the stuff we ran on the tunnel hulls years ago but they were done with 4 square pieces. Thanks for any and all help.

LOL I should open my own tape export business, you can actually buy hockey tape at a lot of corner stores in Canada. At box stores you can usually get 5 rolls for about 4-5 bucks.
The 3m brand I find stretches around corners better. SOmetimes I've found the Renfrew leaves adhesive behind when you pull the tape in hot weather.

Working in construction/plumbing I was always getting my hands scraped, or cut. Since I am always working in water, and mud, regular band-aids would never stay on. UNTIL I discovered that wrapping
the band-aid with some CHEAP medical tape the wound would be protected for days!!!!
                  Are you catching my drifter?

That is absolutely the best deal ever on hockey tape. I've seen one of the rolls. It's humongous! Should last a whole season.

Thanks guys. Could not find it locally for today so I got something by a different name for the same purpose. Works good unitl I can order the renfrew. I checked the medical tape we have at the house and it is far from waterproof.... guess its not all the same. Thanks again for the help.

I used hockey tape a lot but got a bad batch so I borrower some AquaCraft GrimRacer Pro Radio Box Tape from a nitro racer and it worked great, although expensive. I've also used Scotch MMM157S, not just any Scotch tape. GrimRacer is the best, Scotch tape is the easiest to find, cheap and doesn't leave a residue. I'm not going to use hockey tape any more. To remove residue I use "Oops" I bought from Sherwin Williams.

I like 3M electrical tape. Nice and stretchy and yet comes off without peeling paint if you wax your hull. Plus it comes on 6 different colors to match most gel coat colors.
