Gary Finlay's shovelnose kits

Hi,
I'd like to build out a Gary Finlay shovelnose kit-- I hear his 1/16 scale kit is really nice-- does anyone have experience with his 1/12 scale kit? Are the 1/12's still available? (Steve shows zero in inventory, and I can't find a reference to the 1/12 kit on ClassicHydros.com).

I have a bunch of 2S1P 5000mah packs and would like to use these vs. buying more packs-- I figure I should be able to run a 2S1P x 2 on the 1/12 (hence the interest in that scale), but would a single 2S1P 5000 fit in the 1/16 or would that pack be too large?

I built my 1/16 from plans not the kit, ran it a few times but i just found it a bit small, no idea about the kit version but i can fit a 2s 5000mah pack easily, was built with that in mind.
