Configuration for a 1/16 ms k shovel

I am thinking about building a 1/16 Ms K shovelnose kit. What is a typical motor/lipo configuration for this boat? I have a bunch of 2s 5000mah packs but am not sure if they would fit. If I need smaller packs then 3s would be ok.
