    The Stealth 48" mono / 4s2p cells/Motor T600 880kv /Esc Sea king 180/
Looking for cool long run times and speeds of 45mph for sport running.

This is probably a no-go set-up. A 48'" mono needs pretty decent power levels even to get to 45mph. You would be much better off with a smaller 33-36" hull. If you already have the hull shoot for 6s2P and you might be close to your target.

      Hi,
Would the kv of the motor make any difference ?
      The t600 come in 880kv and 1100kv and 1400kv.

      Thank for input.

Lenny the 1400 kv motor is closer to what you need for 4S2P, but the power system is still half of what it probably needs to be to reach 45mph.

If I go to 8s2p 3800mah 35c would that get me closer to what need for power ?
My sea king 180a esc is not going to work above 6s right ?
          Would a cc1520 1y-1600kv be a better motor to try than the t600 1400kv ?

Lenny, you need a larger motor and more volts to get where you need to be. I'll guess that you need around 3000 watts to reach your goals with that boat - just an example and a guess. If you use 4S, then you will be drawing 200 amps - that will melt a small motor and you won't get much run time. With 6S, around 135 amps which may not melt a motor but you won't get much too run time. On 8S you will pull 100 amps, easy on motors and with 10,000 mAh (2P) run time at full throttle will be around 6 minutes, longer with less full throttle. You will want a larger motor to absorb the heat of long run times and 3000 watts, on the order of a Leopard 5692/98 and a Kv near 850. Others should have more input for you.

                Jay,
                Thank you for that info.

Looks like I will need to be running 8s to keep thing cool.

                Not sure on motor yet,

                Keep the info coming please.

                Thanks.

Another vote here for the Leopard Lenny, the 5692 is not an expensive motor by any stretch, sure you might need a better esc and a few more battery packs but it should be quite a nice cool running setup if you go easy on the prop. They make a 1340kv motor I'm pretty sure, this on 6s/2p will get you right around 30000rpm, Ben at Fightercat sells a nice 6s/300a esc for a pretty good price, this boat would probably even handle the weight of 6s4p fine if later you decide you want even longer run times. The next step up from that imo while still being partially budget orientated would be to keep an eye out for a castle 2028 at the right price, teamed with a 12s capable esc, Fightercat, swordfish and castle are just a few off the top of my head, there is a few for sale in the classifieds here atm actually. Even if you only run it on 8s for now, these are a 10hp capable motor, and in the future if you decide you want more speed, no components need to be changed to go all the way up to 10-12s and over 60mph, some have seen 70mph in this size hull.

Ultimately the choice will lie with you, I personally like to allow room for development without reengineering, but the leopard will certainly achieve what you want it to no problems at all=)
