I was thinking the other day as I ran out of AA's (don't have an excuse to pick up more rechargeables until I order, at that time i will). what if I opened up my hkt6a (the hk 6 channel radio) and cut off the wires going to the battery compartment and put on a deans plug and use a 3S 4ah pack I have? i mean really, will .6V over the usual voltage rating actually kill the radio?
that way, I can put the rechargeables I have into another radio and have less radios that use non- rechargeable aa's
