    OSE 5.5 bullets are 12mm long = 207.24 sq/mm
    Castle 5.5 bullets are 8mm long= 138.16 sq/mm of contact area.
I would assume Castle makes longer ones but the measurements I took are from only one set that I have bought.
OSE has more contact area than Castle by another third!

how is the plating though? as well ya gotta factor in the materials resistance under the plating.I assune they are brass alloys or something similar????? you are right on the area though it looks.Heck why does nobody make platinum conns. lol hk ones will do the job just make sure to solder well hehe

Not a clue on the plating but I would assume both Castle and OSE are good stuff. With the junk I run at less than 60 amps even the Hong Kong crap works.

I have a crap load of the HK 5.5s. There are 2 different part number, 1 part number is far better then the other one. I quit using the HK ones though and have a seller on ebay I get them from (much much better). I have started using the HK 6.0mm bullets and they freaking ROCK. There fit is Castle tight. I use them on the motor/esc connections and my ebay 5.5mm on batteris. I would get the OSE or Kintec 5.5mm (I like to buy from OSE or Kintec), but I bought a crap load from ebay and have a rather large supply between those and the HK's so I won't need for a while.

Only thing I use deans on is my minicat boats and thats because the batteries I use in it I use in my planes which I rock deans in also.
