    Motor maintanence

Well I've got a few things a part right now(mostly trucks) and I was thinking about the poor motor bearings and such.I know that I have read sale threads stating "oiled bearings after every run" but I have a CC 1415 in the Slash that has had no maintenence in the better part of a year and seems fine.So I'm curious what everyones opinions are.
Thanks for reading and hope for some myself.Shawn

It depends on the motor. Many motors used sealed bearings, so no oil is required. If yuo don't know the type of bearings in your motor, a drop of oil each day does not harm. If the motor gets wet, open it up and dry it out thoroughly.

Myself,I have mostly CC motors and a pair of TP Comps coming.I'm pretty sure the CC's would be sealed, but thanks for the reply.I should watch that water thing I suppose.
