Try and do a search for similar sized boats and see what others have been using.
I know Delta Force makes a few similar sized hulls and also the SV27 seams relatively close other then the step which yours has.
Seams to me like you are headed in the right directions but I am not that knowledgeable in this area.
Wish I could help out more.OSE GIFTING ELF

Just saw this thread.................not sure how long the boat is but if its less than 30" you are good to go in my opinion. You may consider 30c batts though in the future.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Thanks guys appreciate the info, so far I'm just building with my 12 year old son for fun but if we had races or a club within drivin distance we'd be there for sure. We live close to Kansas City if there is anything going on in MO or KS that anyone knows about we'd appreciate the
info. We built a Dumas Big Swamp Buggy because I kept crashing our planes and wanted to
have more run time and it's taken off from there I'll keep postin the ETTI as we continue to trim it out. Thanks again.
PS Hey boaterguy what exactly do you mean by "headroom" I know you mean the ESC needs to handle more amperage than the motor puts out but exactly which numbers in the nomenclature mean what I am still a little confused I am an electrician by trade and if you get
technical I should be able to follow I hope anyways ha ha.Comment
