How to disable the bec?

To disable the bec of the esc you just have to ''cut'' the red wire from the rx?

To disable the bec of the esc you just have to ''cut'' the red wire from the rx?

NO don't cut.

2 ways to go about it.

1) take a small 3" servo extension and cut the red wire out of it. Then use the small extension with the esc
2) use a small jewelrs flat head and on the rx lead on the esc lift the small locking tab and slide the red wire out then put a small piece of heatshrink on the exposed lead

you don't wanna cut encase you want to use the bec again.
