    Anyone ever seen any 2/56 or 4/40 Aluminum or Stainless Steel Blind nuts?

    No. just ordinary steel ones...
    I asked my LHS for stainless ones, but they have never heard of them being made in Stainless

      You can find SS "T Nuts" in a bunch of different sizes but I have not seen them in sizes below 10-32. Here is a company that sells them. http://www.boltdepot.com/T-Nuts_Stai...teel_18-8.aspx

        McMaster-Carr only carries them to 10-24 thread size. nothing smaller in Stainless Steel.
