    BL Electric Motor Maintenance?

I have read a couple of articles about whether or not brushless motors need maintenance. Some say that you should add a couple of drops of machine oil after every few runs. On the other hand I've read that the motors are pretty much maintenance fee. It stated that the bearings are "sealed and therefore should not be lubricated". I have a Leopard Motor if that makes a difference. Any info is appreciated.

Not all motors use the same kind of bearings. It does no harm to put a couple drops of good oil on the bearings after a day of use.

No it is not. I use this stuff, a high-quality bearing lubricant with an excellent applicator:

Trinity is a very good oil and i use it too.
The bearings have grease from the factory.
With the oil you will increase the max rpm of the bearings about 10k.
