    Hyperion Balance Charging

I took the plunge with some new LiPo batteries and a Hyperion 606i charger. I know many of you use this charger and I am charging the batteries with the balance connector on. Is this all that is required to keep these batteries in "balance" so to speak or are there other procedures that need to be followed?

Always keep a close eye or "hand" on charger, and packs for temps.. as long as they are good you are doing it bye the book. Also its good to know what your voltage was when starting and calculate your charge amp rate to know how long to charge them so incase the charger doesnt detect you know about how long it should take. nice equipment you have,

Yea it BETTER be nice. 3 batteries and a charger cost about 450 bucks! Makes me yearn for the days of Sanyo SCR1200's. (Showing my age there) The charger has all sorts of information being displayed as it charges and I'll figure it out eventually. The good thing is that neither the batteries or the charger get warm and it sets the correct charge rate according to the type of pack. I just wanted to make sure that all the ballancing is being taken care of while it charges. Thats why I bought it in the first place.

should be fine with the balancer,, If your balancer which most do, you can do stand alone balancing after the pack has charged. however you should be A-OK!
