Do you really need to reply on every single thread in this forum?
If you do not have a link or some kind of information that I am asking for, just

I think you guys might be surprised at what can be done... I'm building a 1S SAW Hydro, and a 1S SAW Mono right now... in fact, they are already built and the Hydro has been tested...

Basically, the most readily available power systems are from 1/12th Scale R/C Pan cars... I'm running the Special Edition Castle Mamba Max Pro 1-Cell ESCs, with Thunder Power Z3R-540 motors. Bill Oxidean can come along and tell you all about the Novak offerings as well. He is, after all, the current IMPBA record holder for all of the 1-cell IMPBA SAW classes...

Im cool. Ive just seen a few threads lately where the OPs are jumping down peoples necks over silly stuff. Its supposed to be a community of like minded (and friendly) people.

                      2 cell lipoly N? Or 4 cell M (4 NIMH cells)

                      I like the 1S idea.......

Several of us ran M-2 four-nickel cell SAW riggers with 05 brushed motors. As a reference they were in the 22"-24" length range. They were faster than current 1S boats with BL power - we all ran official mid 50s times. I had a few passes close to 60 but the 05 motors wouldn't last for two passes at that power level.

There don't seem to be any really good BL/LiPo power setups for that level of power, I'll be interested to see what happens next month in LA. I am sure that someone will eventually eclipse the current record Pat holds. Even Chris Harris was 'way low on speed with his LiPo SAW setups, but that is moot since IMPBA no longer records 1S records.

The IMPBA N Stock and Super Stock classes that Darin referred to are 2 cell LiPo classes.

The IMPBA never ran 1s for records Jay. All of the records that were archived were NiMH.

My mistake... Too many SAWs back to back (hahahaha... that's kind of funny, if you think about the irony... ) ... I think I was thinking of the NAMBA 1-cell stuff... I thought that Bill ran that at the August SAW...

Either way, my information provided is still valid. With Bill breaking 50 with his 2-Cell, ROAR STOCK powered Hydro... I wouldn't expect it to be long before the 1-cell, ANY MOTOR class to easily surpass that...
