    Can I run a 4S ESC on 3S?

Looks like these Suppo boat 70A ESC's can only be programmed down to a 4S(12V cutoff) /5S/6S/7S/8S battery or NiMH (.8V/cell cutoff) battery.

What if I run in NiMH mode? I believe that means the cutoff will be too low to work until well past the battery safety point?

Is there any solution except getting different ESC's?

    thanks

Time your runs? Thats what I always do, don't think I've ever hit the LVC.
One of my esc I have no idea if it's even set for LIPO, I don't have a proboat programming card yet and I have no idea if the previous owner did either!
3:30 and I have plenty of juice left when I bring it in, could probably easily get 4 minutes but I figure why risk it.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
