    Is this a bad idea?????

Instead of CF or extra glass... I was thinking of spraying a thin coat of Rhino liner inside my boat. Would this reinforce anything, help seal it or is this just a dump idea. I have plenty of bad ideas.....

I don't know for sure, but Rhino liner is quite heavy material... How about simply painting the inside of the hull with thinnned epoxy or fiberglass resin if you just want to seal/protect it and add a bit of strength...

I used the epoxy method inside a scale helicopter body to strengthen and fuel proof the wood structure inside and it worked very well...

An epoxy coating will only help to seal it. Its not really worth it for the amount of strengthening its going to do. Straight resin doesnt have that much strength. I too feel Rhino is going to be a bit heavy. Cheapest and easiest way is Poly and some lightweight cloth. You could do it for probably under $15.00
