NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
well
be very careful, if you end up putting it in a vice just take a LOT of care.
I put my drive shaft in a vice to saw off a drive dog, bent the drive shaft about 0.000000000001 of a mm, Vibrated the hell out of it !!Comment

I think he already has removed it and can see the bad threads on the screw. He just needs to get back to good threads. I have a small grinder with a fine aluminum oxide wheel (cuts almost anything) and would put the screw on a hex wrench, hold it to the wheel, then turn on the grinder while pressing it to the wheel (keeping the speed down) with my hand on the off switch. This is not for the faint hearted, but has saved the day on several occasions.Legend 36 sailboat, KMB Powerjet Ed Hardy Viper, ABC jet pwrd BBY Oval Master, ABC Hobby Jetski, NQD Tear Into's, HK Discovery 500, MickieBeez pwrd Jet Rigger!, Davette/Gravtix jet sprint, KMB Powerjet Pursuit, NQD pwrd Jet Catamaran!,Steam pwrd African Queen, Sidewinder airboat, Graupner Eco PowerComment
