    CC1512 2650kv DF29

    would putting a CC1512 2650kv motor in a DF29 be to much on 4s ?
just getting some ideas right now, as I have this motor and wondering what it could go in..
    thanks!

I suspect you would have to use a small prop, have heat issues and hi amp draw. I would not use something like that for boats over 26" personally. It would be a good candidate for a df26, or MHZ shockwave (like mine). And then it would be great on 2S with a 37ish mm prop.

I think blackjack put one of those in his geico. It was ungodly fast but I think he said run time was short and the caps on his t180 were getting pretty warm if I remember correctly.

Found this one for u. Send blackjack a message. Pretty sure he said he prefers the 1800 kv outrunner for sport running. Seems like u can get away with that motor but it will be a hotter set up. U commented on that vid brushless.

I dont see why it wouldnt work in a mono. Like its already been said. Run a smaller then expected prop. I have one in my UL1 currently and a 40mm prop is about the limit. Plenty of power thats for sure. Great acceleration and probably right at the top of the max eff range. Sure sounds awesome!

yeah, lots of rpms that's fore sure!
            so maybe a X440 prop?
I'm either going to put it into a 26-29" hull or sell the motor??
I wonder if it would last in the new Impulse 31...
but dang, almost 40k rpms would sound crazy!
