Need help with twinstorm ve

I have bought a new orion ESC(orginal) to my twinstorm VE burstless, but i can't get it to work.
I have connect all the cables, but the lamp on the ESC dont light and the engine dosent move.
Does i have to do something with the ESC to start it?
