    Genesis prop shaft help

    ok so i picked up a used genesis cheap
    but the problem is the stock prop shaft housing is bent/kinked

    i need to replace it but i come across no real information stating what size or where to pick it up form my LHS has nothing for boats so

    HELP

    what measurments i need and where if anywhere to get such an item

    If it is all stock,, before you get the original parts,,everyone changes that stuff over to 3/16 flex,,i recomend you do this also and you will need to convert the strut to accept 3/16 shaft,,,

      Its an easy fix. Drill out the stock bushings in the strut and replace with 3/16 teflon bushing then buy a sv27 flex cable at ose and also a .150 collet.

          Fightercat racing could help you out with parts and if you do drill it out use a hughey or octura flex it might save you the price of a prop. Those flexes are far superior to a sv27 flex
