if anyone here has crashed one of these hulls how do they stand up versus a glassed one.I want to buy one but am cautious of the price difference?

I havent gottin to run mine yet but i can say i also have a regular Genesis and have hit it on things in my house and chipped it, cracked the jell coat on the bottum from trying to remove the factory motor mount,etc..Now i have hit the cf datona here and there and nothing happend,,and you can feel that it is much more riggid and solid feeling then the fg hulls,, this baby dont give or flex that i can tell,,hope this helps you..
