Installed new rear shaft on 4mm genesis

Is it better to put shrink tube on the stuffing tube, strut joint? I did this time and also cut the tube a little. I had to force it in the mount before now it lines up nice but I think by forcing it it also raised the strut angle some so I might not hit 60 mph unless I notch out the strut adjustment to angle it up more. It's all the way right now...I tried once since the rebuild and had binding issues which I never had before. I installed a new flex shaft and shortened it a little for some play instead of being tight from end to end. Let's see if I can hit 60. I have always been in the 60's. I was going to make a new stuffing tube but not sure how to shape and bend the new one to match.

    Ummmmm what do you mean?
have you replaced the strut with the same type? or one with a 3/16 prop shaft?
If its a 1 peice flext shaft you dont want to run it "short"
