    Water sanding epoxy coating

Anyone have ANY experience in water sanding an epoxy coating? I sealed my decals into my CF hull and have some ripples I'd like to sand out and apply a final coat to smoothen it out. I'm just not sure if it would work the way I would want it to. I have water sanded paint before but never epoxy. Any suggestions please chime in, thanks ahead, JJ.

The benefit of wet sanding verses dry sanding for both are the same, it helps to keep the paper from loading up.

Another advantage is preventing melting of the epoxy - not an issue with paint.

Also depends on the type of epoxy, some cure to a much harder finish than others.
