help!!miss bud 1/12 problems

moved cog to about 1.75"from rear of sponsons,at2/3 throttle ok,at full throttle it'stuffed"!!do i have too much prop lift,or should i move the cog way back?also,can i waterproof a swordfish 120 esc by dipping it in liquid rubber?it took a big hit when boat "stuffed".thanks.....canjohn.
