    What is your favorite hull?

I think the proper answer to the question is:

We like any hull that goes fast.

Myself, I am partial to cats

I used to be partial to Hydros. Now I think I am a "Cat" man now.

      Thanks, Scott.

Not so in my case. Most of the time I can care less how fast it is unless it's a complete slug. My preference for hull design couples scale appearance with performance. More often the fastest hulls are not the best looking and are far from scale.

As for hulls I like the following

        ToysPort Jolly Cat (of course)

        HPR cats in general.

        MHZ:
        Jolly Motor
        Drambuie on Ice
        Cougar
        Fiat Uno
        CT03 Cat

        H&M:
        Agitator WE
        Maritmo
        La Gran Argentina

        Aeromarine:
        Rio
        Avenger
        Outer Limits
        Donzi 49
        Challenger

I could go on but I think that gets my point across

My favourites are Cats but I have a hydro and a mono too, riggers don't really do it for me tho I do find them interesting, I'd rather try to keep up with one than drive one myself.

My first season (last year) I drove all monos.
This year I'll be running monos, a tunnel, and hydros.

I'll have 3 different hull types using the SV27 power system, plus another 1/10 scale hydro running the same system. It'll be interesting to see the comparisons...

A good thread, depends on your water and wind conditions. I personally in all truth can not favour one hull design over another, but here comes the sacrilige...I love model sail boats!!!! They take a ton of skill ,in order to be competitive. My son beats me every time...mind you he does have an actual racing 3O foot sail boat. But for me, I love my model power boats, as my son can not compete!!!

                              good golden!

the first boat you see (the black one) is a victor soling sail boat. built and customized. it has carbon booms and mast along with some other special things

the bottom is a very very old COX tradewind that i repaired and fixed up nice :)
