Which standard for US shaft ?

    Hi

I am living in France and used to the metric system and not very familiar with US units.

I have a 3/16 shaft which threaded part is too short : the nut can't block the prop.

I need to increase the length of the thread part of the shaft. I want to buy a die and would like to know which standard should I use : BSW, BSF, UNF or UNC ?

    The shaft comes from rocketcity.

    Regards

    Pierre

10-32 thread is a UNF standard and found on the .187 stubb shafts.
