With the 2000kv version and an m445 you can run a 120a ESC.........swordy or T120.................i did it for quite a while with the 2150kv version..............but for 30 bucks more than the T120 you can go with a T180 which is what i finally did.

I asked this very question the other day on OSE, Turnigy 120 or Swordfish & had a couple of replies that both said the Turnigy was a better choice. I believe the Turnigy is the same esc as the Seaking 120.

            Would the 180 be overkill?

No. In fact I'd definately run that over the 120. That motor will pull over 120 amps no problem.
Also, I wasnt aware there was a Carbon reinforced M445..

                  The K45 is more of a X445 than a M445. A M series prop will be de-tongued. The K45 is not.

Why would the k-45 be better?

I'm an idiot...I mean I'll be running the graupner k45 carbon prop...

But what is the difference between the x445, m445 and the k45?

M445 is beryllium copper De-tongued. X445 is beryllium copper Full blade are intact. K45, is carbon reinforced plastic with similar shape to an X445. The M445 will spin slightly "easier" Than the X445. It has slightly less blade area. The "tongue" is the very beginning of the leading edge.

So would the x445 be a faster prop than the m445? And where would the k45 fit in there? thanks
