Thanks, Larry. I picked up some (green) ones myself at the good price. Just wondering, since prices are rising on motors if they are worth more now.

I agree as well. The silver HRC/OSE jackets look good against the black can. And they have slightly shorter wires then the "official" branded CC/Neu 1515/1Y. If you can find one made over a year ago they had the rear end bell opened for oiling the rear bearing. Castle was putting their sticker over the opening in the green can, now they seal both versions of the motor.

The 1717 motors are awesome. More like a Neu 1527 then a 1521.

I don't know what shipping is to Aus. for a motor.

I have 2 I will be selling soon once I'm done making the coolers to go with them.

Last time I checked shipping to Aus. was very expensive for a 26" boat hull. A motor I dunno?

I just shipped a 1520 to Brisbane with a billet water sleeve via usps Priority. charge was $36 which included insurance for the cost of the motor. IF you don't want insurance you can ship Priority usps and it was going to be $19 I believe. Curt
