Do I need to replace the caps?

Hi, I finally fliped the FastTECH and soaked my SeaKing 180. Dried it out but before i retry it should I replace the three caps, are they water tight? if not I am thinking they won't be dry since not much air can get in there. Thanks

i have flipped all three boats and had water soak the t180s and they work fine still, not to say they are waterproof which I believe they are not but they can take being submersed for a bit in my exp. some others may disagree but just sayin is all. There are a few guys on here that have waterproofed them I have seen..... maybe do a search on it.fyi a liquid called corrosion x is your friend in these matters lol.

Thanks! you know it is interesting: I know they are not water proof, but I looked carefully thru light into the plastic box beneath the heatsink, there was no water, which is not to say that it was not exposed to moisture. I was just wondering the status of the capacitors, looks like yours were ok, I will leave it alone I think. With my soldering skills I will mess more things up along the way as always! lol
