37" Fightercat Daytona voltage and prop help

So I just bought a 37" FC Daytona from passinby and I'm stoked about this thing.
I've been searching but I can't seem to find the answers I need on this setup because I keep finding twins.

I want 10 min run times at 40-45 mph but would settle for 35-40 mph if needed to get the 10 min run time. My goal is not speed but endurance, we go to Lake Mcconaughy in the summer and I want to run the boat the 5 miles across the lake.

It has a Leopard 4074 2200kv and Seaking 180 ESC.
4S puts me at 29,304 rpm and 3S puts me at 21,978 rpm. (Assuming 90% motor efficiency)
Will 3S be too much amp draw to run for 10 min? I would like to run 3S if I can.
Is 4S too much rpm for what I want to do?

Would an Octura X442 or Graupner K42 prop be a decent starting point? I'm thinking a 1.4 x 42 prop helps to minimize load (and amp draw).

Any suggestions would be appreciated or is this motor too small to do what I want?

You could go with 2-3 (4) cell LIPOs in parallel. 3 in parallel should gurantee 10 + min run time & still be pretty fast. Remember: The higher the voltage the less amps drawn from the batts to the motor; the more cells in parallel the less the amp draw per pack = longer run time. JIM

      Thanks for the reply Jim.

I like the idea of splitting the amp draw between multiple packs but is the motor big enough to run for that long?
Meaning, will the amp draw on 4S overheat the motor on a 10 min run? Maybe prop choice is the way to handle that?

      Thanks for the input.

I use Leopard motors in my boats. They are reasonably priced and very reliable. JIM

PS: I don't buy the BS about water cooling jackets not doing much motor cooling. Be sure to put a water cooling jacket on all your motors.

Roger that. The boat I am buying has a cooling jacket but I would put one on even if it didn't. I also plan to have the ESC and motor on separate cooling circuits.

Good to hear you like the Leopards, I have read lots of good things about them.

Yes, do put a second cooling line to the ESC. It needs it a lot more than the motor. Some people run coolant thru the ESC and then & then to motor. I like to keep them seperate. JIM
