    Delta Force DF45 setup

    Hi guys,

I am preparing a new boat for the summer, the delta force DF45 abt 36" long with a Feigao 9XL motor. Do you have any suggestions for ESC, batterries and popeller?

    Thanks all.

I run a Hydra 120 with my XL,,,and I have used my SV-27 speed controller with no problems as well, all while running on 4S LiPos.

thats a small motor for a big boat. Start with a small prop. And watch temps. A 9xl on that size boat will be a bunch of amps. I would use a 100amp continuous esc of better.

Good point Steve, I'm running my set-ups in 27-28 inch hulls. A lot less current drain.

I would use a Hydra 120/240 esc and 12XL.. Run 4S lipos and 45-50mm prop...

I think a 36" long hull and would be very hot on 9XL..

I run a 9XL and Hydra 120 in a 29" Titan with a M445... On a 3-4 min. run all electronics and motor are over 100 deg... It is running 40-45 mph..... I think this set-up in a 36" hull is to hot... JMO
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

Thanks all for your suggestions. I will go for a 120 Amp ESC, 2X3S lipos and a 42-46 mm prop. Let's see!
