i know some of you are running an eagle tree data logger . what did you do to keep it safe and
dry ? i may be able to cram it into the radio box but it may be tight .
I used Plastidip on mine. Use a small brush and paint it on and in the gaps, its available here on OSE but I see Steve is out of stock. You can purchase it at some hardware stores or you can try Corrosion X.

Thank you for the info on the Conformal coating being warranty friendly.
I did have a traxxas vxl esc that they wouldn't cover under warranty because I put liquid tape on the case around the wires and it was touching the board.

In gas and nitro boats we put our Eagle Tree loggers in a balloon. That wasn't good enough in the greasy and high vibration environment of those boats. Our loggers had a fairly short life. We were also careful to power the logger with its own battery because ignition noise got back to the receiver. None of these issues should be a problem with electric boats. However, in our full size electric hydro we had to keep the Eagle Tree loggers away from the motor. The magnetic field fried a logger we put on the motor. That motor easily pulled 700 to 900 amps at 140 volts. The Eagle Tree units were never designed for that kind of environment.

Full size ? I know that's off topic but is there video of this.
422C is a 1-part, acrylic-silicone blend waterproof conformal coating that cures to a durable, flexible and smooth finish. It is easy to apply and can be handled in only 10 minutes. It may be removed with appropriate strippers, or soldered through for repair or rework.
Would this work ......as good......or better.
Has anyone tried it yet?
