    was way off

When i posted on here last i was asking for help on motor, esc, and batteries for a 6 1/2 lb rigger. i was way off on the weight so heres what i have. rigger with 24 in. tub and 10 1/2 in. sponsons. it is 4 in. wide , 3 in. tall, and has two 3/4 pads on the rear. the boat is a tad over 3 lbs. I was looking at the 540 fiegaro motors. Also a silicon water jacket, water cooled esc, and lipo batteries. i have no pics so have to go with this. What motor, esc batt., and prop would you use on this? i would like to run in the 55 60 range if possible. even though i have little experence with boats i have been in rc planes and cars and can handle these speeds. i wont be racing it just for playing at the lake. plenty of area to run a boat this fast. please give me some info on this. thanks

Not to sure a rigger is the best choice for a 'first boat'.
Current IMPBA P-O/B Tunnel SAW record holder with avg time of 3.358 seconds @ 67.004 MPH.
Owner Worlds fastest record setting Lynx with average time of 3.287 seconds @ 68.451 MPH.

    Smocktura Props!

Might want to check with one of the rigger guys here. 60% back from the front of tub doesn't sound right. My little Renegade Rigger balances near the turn fin.

Yep...Mark is right.....middle to the end of the turn fin would be optimum CofG. All of my riggers are setup like this....even my O/B rigger.

If you can, post a pic of it so we all can see what you have to work with.

Keda 4074 2364 kv, Turnigy 120 @ 3 degrees advance, 4S 5000 mah. Get a proper cooling jacket not the silicone one.
