Bullets in series

To run a bullet in series do you guys just run the wire that connects the batteries as a separate free standing wire or are you connecting it in anyway to anything?

The most common method is when you have a female bullet on the + lead and male bullet on the - lead of the battery packs. Then you can simply plug the - of one pack into the + of the other. The remaining + and - plug in directly to the ESC bullets.
