There have been a number of posts on Intlwaters and Jim's Boatdock about the passing of Justin Hill. He was a gas/nitro racer here in Az and NAMBA Dist 19, and he also provided the Az Winter Warmups FE race with so much help over the years, that many of you know him.
Unfortunately, his work schedule got in the way of our 2011 race so his attendance was limited, but previous years he would be found in the retrieval boat, helping pit, corner judging, course setup/tear down or just shooting the breeze and laughing with fellow racers. He truly provided way more than he ever received in this hobby...more than just about anyone I know. His generousity had no boundaries, and his laughter was infectious. In fact, my winning P-Ltd Rigger at the '10 Nat's was built by him, and he built it for me as a complete surprise.
Godspeed, Justin! You will be missed dearly and the Scottsdale Model Boaters and NAMBA Dist 19 won't be the same.
