1717 Hull choice

Hey guys,I recently aquired a 1717 1580kv and would like to get a deep-v going for rougher water.Just a fun stable boat.I was looking at the Challenger on OSE but fear it to be too small.A Pursuit 33 was also suggested but I think the hull would need a deeper V to be more stable in rougher water.Any suggestions on this winters project would be appreciated.
