    36" Twinbrushless Catamaran

    First post on this forum

got my hands on a 36" Twinbrushless Catamaran, and it the first time dealing with twin flexie drives, so for Counter-Rotation do i just need to change the props for one left hand and one right hand and change the red and black so the motor runs the other way or does the flexie drive need to be changed too so it does not unwind its self ?

    Any help would be great

    Thanks

you need 1 each left and right rotating props
you need 1 reverse wound flex shaft
THEN fire up each motor by itself and figure out which one you want to reverse rotate. (do not hook up the flex drives at this time.)

now, do not touch the battery leads from the batteries to the speed controls.
instead, on the speed control you want to reverse, take any 2 of the 3 motor wires between the motor and the speed control and reverse them.
(Do this with the battery/batteries disconected)

    that about covers it.

There is a vast wealth of knowledge here on the forum and I am sure that any one will be glad to help out.

Do not reverse the red and black -- that will produce maximum smoke!!
