    Power supply

I just picked up an Intellipeak Ice charger from Darin, what power supply would you guys suggest I use on my bench!

I contacted Duratax they recommended a Hobbico HCAP-0250 but the max amps is 11.5 while the Ice recommends 15!

Now we only run sport, maybe racing if my son really wants but for now just sport will that power supply be OK?
We did it with a Bang!

I also run a rivergate bulldog 30 for two other chargers.

I used one from Radio Shack (15A I think...and reasonably priced) to run 2 chargers. It worked well for me for a season of racing...I'll probably need more amps next season though...running 3 or 4 chargers.

I have been using the astroflight power supply with great success on two chargers at once.

Northern that is a great looking power supply. Just a little spendy. We get what we pay for though hu.

I used the riverdog supply for years when I was racing.
You can't go wrong with that supply. I used to power three chargers running a motor lathe and a dyno.

Spent a lot of time trying to find one that was not too pricey and gave me what I needed. This is what I bought.

I also have a HAM license so I bought it with the intent that I would be able to use it with an HF radio also. It will put out less RF noise than the cheaper power supplies that are just made to power charges.

I use the same one as Chris. Hasn't had the first problem. Not a bad price. VERY easy to use and reliable. I have the 30 amp one.

The charger I use (TP1010c) is really picky about voltage being between 11 and 15 with no load and it loves this power supply. Just my experience.

I use a competition electronics 23 amp PSU. It works well so far.

Yes you do, that has been my power supply of choice for the track or lake. I have a 100 amp Astron power supply in the garage and a 125 amp digital Audio Authority power supply that I have never even used.
