    Water coming up Flex shaft

I purchased a BEFU mini geico cat from HydroJerry a few weeks ago and so far it has been a great boat. The only problem I have had is that water keeps coming up the flex shaft and into the boat. I have water tested the boat and so this is how I have come to the conclusion about the flex shaft. I have greased the flex shaft with grim's speed grease and I have put fuel line over the end of the stuffing tube and still get a decent amount of water in the boat. Are there any other tips or tricks out there to stop this from happening. Will a wire drive fix this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

wire drive won't change much. is there a piece of shrink wrap over the strut to seal the stuffing tube?

It sounds like you have the drive line covered. Tape up the boat and submerge it in a warm bathtub for five minutes. Squeeze the hull and look for bubbles. Pressurize the water cooling lines with a squeeze bulb full of water and check for leaks there. Not much else except for seams etc. which may only open up under the stresses of running.

I have done all the testing you mentioned fluid. Water is def coming up the flex cable. Is this just something I will have to live with?
