    power switch question

I know this should probably go in the SV27 forum, but it seems to maybe also be a general boating question.

I've been running the SV for almost a year, and have never gotten around to adding an external power switch. This last weekend, at the Texas Super Race, I saw several other electrics rigged up with this switch:

Tower Hobbies carries an expansive collection of RC cars, RC airplanes, RC boats, model trains, sot cars, and supplies for all hobbyists.

Given that the supervee doesn't have an on or off switch (its either on or off), how would I put a switch inline from the ESC to the RX that would allow me to turn the power on and off using that quick switch from Dubro?

how I would do it; purchase your switch and a servo extension lead(like the ones shown here http://www.servocity.com/html/servo_...s___leads.html ), cut the red wire and splice in your switch, plug the esc in on one end of the lead and the other into the Rx, mount the switch. you should then be able to shut down the rx at a flip of the switch...HOWEVER the esc will still be live, should the esc short out, flipping the switch will NOT cut power to the esc!
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in
