    Power Supply

Hey gents, after 5-yrears of great service, my Rivergate Bulldog 45 finally gave me the finger.
Rivergate won't warranty or service it, so I needs me a power supply.

I'm a BIG fan of clean power, so a high end unit is not out of the question. Money dosen't grow on trees these days, so a low budget reccomendaateion is welcome too lol!

Any suggestions? None of my sponsors sell one..

    Bill,

I have 30amp Bulldog that keeps on working. I needed another power supply, so I bought this supply.

Tower Hobbies carries an expansive collection of RC cars, RC airplanes, RC boats, model trains, sot cars, and supplies for all hobbyists.

No cleaner power than a computer power supply. My Pyramid power supply took a dump after only one year. I just happended to have an old computer in the basement and decided to give it a shot. It runs cool, is compact and runs great. Runs my Hyperion Duo charging two 4S packs at 5 amps with no problems. Just check the power output of the supply if you decide to go this route.

egneg on this board can show you the way. I think he did a thread or two on the subject. There are also plenty of "how to's" on the internet.

Did you check to see how much to repair? Mine got a wire in it on a trip and blew it was repaired for $85.00 plus shippingand I have been using it for many years since then. All you have to do is talk nice to them.

              That's definitely an option Randy.
I may buy a cheapo for now because I gotta' get ready for Valdosta.
Them boys down there are EXTREMELY fast, and nothing short of amazing will set a record at blue lake.

I live in NAMBA country, but I have to admit Blue lake may be one of my all time favorite race sites.
The lake has somewhat straight banks, the water is SUPER fast, the water is SUPER fast, the water is SUPER fast..

                          I agree, great power supplies

Bill, I run 2 of these 47amp PS total 24V. My iCharger on 12v side, and my Hyperion EOS720i Duo3 on 24v, both running at the same time with no problems.
