    Insane or just insane...

    Hey all.

Is this boat going to like the combo I have laying here?
    http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...n%5FDrive.html

    The combo: Leopard 4082 / 1450, seaking 180 and 2x 3S 4500Mah Nanos, octura x645.

It's a bit small for what you have. I would use a Phil Thomas Stealth. There's one in the swap shop now. I'd skip on the cheap, thin hobbyking boat. Or, check out the Insane FE30 hydro at www.insaneboats.com
Properchopper builds a very nice boat. Check out the customer services section for his builds.

The 4082 with a 6S setup using only 4500 MaH on board, especially with the 645 prop will eat up a fair amount of battery capacity - short runtimes will be the result. The boat you pictured, while a decent hull for a 2S or 4S setup, is rather small and will easily come apart under duress. Like Larry said, a PT, Whiplash, BBY, or Insane FE30 at 29"-30" will be a much better direction to consider.

Holy sh... That was one sweet ride..... Of course I want one built for me. But whos gonna pay it? Oh yes, I love those "crab" boats.

What is the est price for a hull with hardware installed? Except motor, esc and batt. Just a harsh estimation...
