    talking timer

A nifty idea [ thanks BillSoCal] to time runs 'till the LVC cuts in : a talking countdown [ or count-up] timer which clearly annunciates minute intervals. A lot easier than dealing with an Eagletree ! E-Bay @ 15 bucks shipped ; [search : talking timer]

I've had mine for years. I stuck it with Velcro to the end of the TX and start it when the boat hits the water. It is handy hearing it countdown the minutes so you know how long you have been out..

You can also set it for 30 seconds to time starts, etc. It counts down by 10's to 10 seconds, then every second.

Great tool for anything that needs timing. It also works as a count up timer and clock as well.
    Don't get me started

Fantastic! Exactly what I 've been seeking for over a year. Thank you! I'm off to E-bay now.
