How to repair gelcoat in hull

Searched, but couldn't find any info. My Impulse 31 got t-boned by my buddies Impulse 31. Has some cosmetic damage on the upper deck. ( can see the fiberglass) How do I fill it and re-finish it? Can I just put some bondo or epoxy in it and sand it, then paint it white again?

Yep! Thats whats nice about F/G hulls, they can be fixed. Back when I used to race nitro boats we'd start every spring with a new paint job, just keep patching them up all summer then paint them again in the winter.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Thanks for the reply Husky. I don't actually have to go buy gel coat to fix it do I? Any filler will be ok, and just spray paint it white?

I used Bondo brand body filler with fiberglass in it to fix a hull. After that use spot putty to smooth it off and paint your desired color.
