    prop depth and angle

on a rigger what is the best starting point for the strut? where should the props center line be? i have pads on the rear figured id use a neutral setup to start but didnt know how deep to go. figured there are lots of experince out there so its better to ask hen to look stupid.

To start have the center of the shaft even with the bottom of the rear sponsons, 0 angle. Make sure to leave Some adjustment up and down. Choice of prop has a lot to do with it, depending on how much lift it has. CG will also effect this.
Everything in a rigger depends on everything else, they look so simple but in reality they are the F1 race cars of the boating world, a single degree change can make the difference between a great running boat and a royal pain.
All you can do is experiment until everything works out.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
