pursuit help

ok so I have removed the 2 piece crap shaft setup in the pursuit boat that is worn and has side play.Now I am wondering if its best to try and find a stinger bushing and hammer the metal sleeve they have used or maybe drill it out to 5/16 and use a few 3/16 bearings to support the flexshaft in the stinger any ideas guys which is best and why lol?

I will be using a one piece shaft in 3/16 as well fyi

I believe I got a 3/16 from here on OSE and it has worked very well so far.

I went for the adjustable Stinger Strut above and am so happy with its adjustable ability that you can play with and may even get away with larger props at the slight upward angle.
