    motor mount

    I need to know if someone where I can fine a mount for a cc1520 motor my hull has no rails in it thanks for your help

    www.fightercatracing.com. has a non-rail mount. It glues to the floor of the hull.

          That a cool mount but I will need to take the cooling can off is ok to run that motor with out cool around it

            It's not ok. Some say its not needed, but every little bit helps. I'll get on my pc and look at the mount. I can't see Ben selling a mount where a guy can't use a can.

              I looked at it. Its basically the same as the Leopard mounts for sale here in the store. You have to install the rear support ring on the motor first. After that, install the water jacket and clock it how you want it. Then, bolt the motor to the mount. Its easy, Ive done it with Leopard motors that have wires coming from the motor can. No big deal. At $20 its cheap too.
